A cryptocurrency scam that has been making the rounds has made its way into Estevan.
Estevan Police confirmed earlier this week they got a report of an individual investing a significant amount of cryptocurrency.
Police said the individual later learned that others had been scammed by the same investment.
The matter is still being investigated.
Similar cryptocurrency frauds have been reported by Saskatchewan RCMP in the last year, particularly in the Swift Current and Maidstone communities.
