Barcelona have struck a three-year partnership with WhiteBit that designates the company as the Spanish soccer giants’ official cryptocurrency exchange partner until 2025.
The new agreement, which sits in the club’s global partnership tier, sees the Ukraine-based cryptocurrency firm receive LED screen inventory at the Camp Nou and includes brand presence across all of Barcelona’s various sports teams.
In addition, WhiteBit will support Barcelona’s esports outfit, with the brand’s logo set to feature prominently on backdrops during competitions, as well as integration into the Barça Innovation Hub digital platform.
“We are pleased to announce this new partnership, another example of the club’s commitment to innovation,” said Juli Guiu, vice president of marketing at Barcelona.
“Additionally, this is a partnership that will help us to continue growing and developing our global commercial expansion strategy, strengthening the club further while remaining a benchmark in an increasingly competitive field.”
Volodymyr Nosov, chief executive of WhiteBit, added: “The start of our warm relationship with the legendary Barça as an official crypto exchange partner is a significant step for the community as a whole, and for us it is also a great pride and responsibility.”
